Homebound instruction provides an opportunity for students to continue to obtain an education while they are unable to attend public school because of physical reasons.
Students are eligible to receive homebound instruction by licensed teachers if they are absent from school a minimum of two weeks due to an illness. Teachers meet with students at the pupil's home at prearranged times, working with them for three hourly sessions weekly. Chronically ill children with high frequency absences may not have two consecutive weeks of absence but may be considered on an individual basis for the program.
All children must have an Oklahoma State Department of Education Physician's Report filled out in order to enter the program. Forms are available at the Curriculum Coordinator's office, at Booker Learning Center South, located at the corner of Cypress and Willard Streets.

Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world.
